How to transfer money from apple pay to the cash app?
It is not possible to directly transfer money from Apple Pay to Cash App. Apple Pay is primarily designed for making payments at physical stores, online retailers, and within apps using your Apple device.
If you have money in your Apple Pay Cash balance and you wish to transfer it to Cash App, you can try the following workaround:
- Transfer funds from Apple Pay to your linked bank account: Open the Wallet app on your iPhone, tap on your Apple Pay Cash card, and select "Transfer to Bank." Follow the prompts to transfer the funds to your linked bank account.
- Link your bank account to Cash App: Open the Cash App on your mobile device, tap on the profile icon or settings menu, and look for the "Banking" or "Linked Accounts" option. Follow the instructions to link your bank account to Cash App.
- Deposit funds from your bank account to Cash App: Once your bank account is linked to Cash App, you can initiate a bank transfer from your bank account to your Cash App account. Open Cash App, tap on the "Balance" tab, and select "Add Cash." Enter the desired amount and follow the prompts to complete the transfer from your bank account to Cash App.
By following these steps, you can indirectly transfer funds from Apple Pay to Cash App by first moving the funds from Apple Pay to your linked bank account and then from your bank account to Cash App.
Please note that the steps and procedures may have changed since my knowledge cutoff in September 2021. It's always recommended to refer to the official documentation or contact the customer support of Apple Pay and Cash App for the most accurate and up-to-date information on transferring funds between these platforms.
